Is she really 27?

I have come across many women and when they tell me their age I am shocked! Some look way younger, but most look way way older than their age. Us women need to maintain ourselves! why? because we want to age gracefully. However, when men get older they are still considered sexy. Look at George Clooney and his "sexy" crow's feet. How can we stop saying we are 27 and in turn look like we are hitting 40 pretty soon? I was looking at myself in the mirror and I am extremely oily which is suppose to delay the aging process, but not the clogged pores pimply effect. But I do see a fine line on my forehead and little lines fines forming around my eyes. I can be the first to tell you that I stress like nobody's business. So ladies lets make a promise to ourselves that we will try to stay as young as we can without the botox action! My vows to my myself are the following:

1. Not to stress the small stuff
2. Exercise
3. Drink water
4. Get sleep
5. Take makeup off before going to bed
6. Stick to my skincare regimen: Cleanser in the morning, toner, serum, eye cream, and moisturizer for the day and for night I will use my second cleanser, eye cream, and night time treatment(s)
7. I will take my supplements

What are your vows to yourself?

How to Stay Young

Years ago my gym teacher in York College gave us a sheet on how to stay young. This man looked like he was in his early 50's but he was very in his 70's. He was fit, energetic, and very inspirational. That class was the first time I actually wanted to work out and I haven't stopped since then. His method of staying young were not with creams and by drinking water (which are all great), but by the following:

1. Throw away nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. This is why you pay them.

2. Keep only CHEERFUL FRIENDS. The grouches pull you down.

3. Laugh often, long, and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

4. Be Alive while you are alive.

5. Surround yourself with what or who you love.

6. Enjoy the simple things.
